Dr Briggs's pregnancy care package provides tailored support throughout your pregnancy journey, offering a range of services to ensure optimal health for both mother and baby:

Extended Appointments: Enjoy 30-minute routine check-ups throughout your pregnancy, which include a basic bedside ultrasound assessment at each visit, all at a discounted rate.

Same-Day Support: You are guaranteed same-day phone or email contact from Monday to Friday. If Dr. Briggs is unavailable, another GP will assist. Please contact reception to arrange this.

Quick Appointment Access: We guarantee appointments within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). While long appointments may not be available at short notice, you may be seen by another women’s health GP if Dr. Briggs is unavailable.

Initial Women's Health Physio Support: Receive a reduced rate initial assessment and education session with a women’s health physiotherapist around 20 weeks of pregnancy and another at 6 weeks postpartum.

Initial one off Dietitian Consultation: Early in your pregnancy, benefit from a complimentary assessment and education session with a dietitian at reduced rate

Onsite Testing: Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) and all routine pregnancy blood tests are conveniently available onsite.

Offsite Comprehensive Ultrasounds: Formal ultrasounds, such as the 13-week nuchal translucency scan and the 20-week morphology scan, are not performed onsite. These require more detailed imaging, which can be done at an external radiology clinic of your choice.

Nuchal Translucency Scan Options: The 13-week scan can be completed at no cost through Gold Coast University Hospital, or you can choose a private radiology clinic where gap fees apply.

Morphology Scan: Your 20-week morphology scan will be referred to a radiology clinic of your choice. A gap fee usually applies, regardless of your care model.

Reduced Fees: Enjoy a reduced fee for all routine scheduled antenatal visits after your initial visit.
